2025 Panini Prizm Football Manga inserts transform stars into animals, send them soaring through the skies and gives them laser cannon arms. Basically, if you took your old Starting Lineup figures and mashed them up with your Transformers and G.I. Joe accessories, this is what you’d get.
The memorable chase cards are one of the highlights on the 2025 Panini Prizm Football checklist. Once again using art inspired by Japanese comics, the end result is over-the-top and fun. They’re out there and distinct. It’s a similar approach to the one introduced in 2024 Panini Prizm Football and has carried into other sports and releases. Manga inserts originally made their debut in 2021 but the first few installments simply presented players in the Japanese style but without making them into characters.

A total of 30 different players appear on the 2025 Panini Prizm Football Manga checklist. Half use a Vertical layout and the other half are Horizontal. It’s a similar approach Panini uses for Kaboom. As for the mix of players, it’s split fairly evenly between rookies, veteran superstars and retired legends. Although the two layouts have separate numbering, nobody appears on both checklist.
Panini hasn’t released odds or print runs for Manga inserts other than that they’re part of the product’s short print chase cards.

They do not appear to be in retail versions like blasters and mega boxes.
